USDA Weekly Crop Progress Report

OMAHA (DTN) -- U.S. corn planting was slightly ahead of last year's pace and the five-year average as of Sunday, April 12, according to USDA NASS's weekly Crop Progress report released on Monday.

NASS estimated U.S. winter wheat condition at 34% good to excellent, down 13 points from 47% at the same time last year.

Corn was 5% planted and soybeans were 6% planted.

Spring wheat was 6% planted.
